Lea is a member of our Estate Planning and Administration Group, the Business Law Group, and leads the firm’s Family Law practice, which includes the Collaborative process.
About Lea
Lea Anderson has been elected Chair of the Family Law Section of the ACBA for 2018-2020. Over 300 attorneys involved in the many aspects of family law practice are members of the active section. Under Lea’s leadership, the 15 committees of the Family Law Section will provide programming, rule and case law updates, and pro bono and public service opportunities. The Section will work closely with the Family Court Judges to address concerns with court operations and procedures, make the court process more friendly to families.
Lea is highly regarded throughout the region for her experience, knowledge and dedication to families in need of legal assistance. A driving force in bringing the methods of Collaborative Law to the area, she is also an advocate for alternative dispute resolution methods in traditional family law matters.
