As the active Solicitor of Harrison Township and Mt. Oliver Borough, she has extensive experience in all facets of local government, but also has considerable experience assisting the firm's school clients. About Emily

The 2018 Fall Conference was held September 27-30th at Seven Springs Mountain Resort. Emily co-chaired the conference, which addressed an array of educational topics, including Cyber-Security Insurance, Labor & Employment Law Updates, Stormwater Ordinance Requirements, What Municipalities Should Know about Landslides, and How PEMA Can Help When Natural Disasters Strike.

This was Emily’s first time co-chairing the event, where she also served as a Moderator, but she has been active in the conference as a presenter for many years.

An active municipal solicitor, Emily has extensive experience in all facets of local government.  Emily assists her municipal clients with running public meetings in accordance with the Sunshine Law, drafting ordinances, reviewing and responding to requests for public records under Pennsylvania's Right-to-Know Law, prosecuting zoning ordinance violations, and addressing property maintenance issues, including demolition proceedings. She is also broadly versed in municipal taxes and claims, including representing her clients in matters involving the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
