GRB Law is proud to announce that on Monday, February 5, 2018, Mandi L. Culhane was appointed to the twelve-member Judicial Conduct Board of Pennsylvania.

Created by constitutional amendment in 1993, the Judicial Conduct Board sits independently within the judicial branch of the Commonwealth’s government, and is responsible for reviewing, investigating, and where warranted, prosecuting complaints of judicial misconduct. Comprised of three judges, three lawyers and six non-lawyer members, half of the board is appointed by the Governor, while the other half is appointed by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Mandi was appointed by the Governor and her term runs through February 5, 2020. 

Mandi is a shareholder at GRB Law, practicing within the firm’s Municipal, Municipal Creditors’ Rights, Real Estate and Litigation Groups. She helps manage the firm’s Municipal Creditors’ Rights Group, collecting delinquent real estate taxes and municipal claims for some of Pennsylvania’s largest taxing bodies.  Her litigation focus has been in the area of appellate practice and procedure.  She is  also experienced in both transactional and litigation related oil and gas matters, having represented property owners and the oil and gas industry in lease and other contract negotiations, as well as in litigation related to title disputes and similar matters.  Since 2010, she has been repeatedly recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer Rising Star for her work in the areas of appellate practice and municipal law. 

Mandi is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the United States District Courts for the Western and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, the Supreme, Superior and Commonwealth Courts of Pennsylvania and the Supreme Court of Appeals and Circuit Courts of West Virginia.  She is a member of the Allegheny County, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations. Mandi graduated magna cum laude from Bucknell University in 2001, earning her B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Economics.  In 2004, she received her J.D. magna cum laude from The George Mason University School of Law, now known as The Antonin Scalia Law School.
