With a broad range of experience, Rick joined the firm in 2023 as a member of the Municipal Tax & Creditors' Rights and School & Municipal Law Groups. Drawing on a broad range of experience, he counsels municipalities on both day-to-day operations and complex legal matters, including labor and employment issues and general litigation. He currently serves as Solicitor to the boroughs of Conway and Green Tree, as well as the Allegheny Valley Joint Sanitary Authority.
In addition to his role as Municipal Solicitor, Rick works with municipalities to ensure that municipal liens are properly protected and recoverable in bankruptcy proceedings. He also assists the firm's Municipal Tax & Creditors' Rights Group with the collection of delinquent real estate taxes and handles litigation for unpaid local earned income tax.
Rick's practice further includes counseling and litigation in real estate, commercial, construction, estate, and business matters.
Prior to a career in law, Rick was a newspaper journalist in the Pittsburgh region. He is also a proud alumnus of Central Catholic High School.
