As a member of our Litigation and Labor & Employment Groups, Lisa’s practice lends across many of the firm’s clients and their ever-changing needs.
When advising her employment clients, she works to proactively identify issues before they become lawsuits, and routinely advises them on best practices for discipline, termination, compliance, training, and other workplace issues. When litigation is unavoidable, she defends claims of all kinds, including discrimination, disability (and reasonable accommodations), harassment, and retaliation.
With vast experience litigating personal injury matters, she has represented plaintiffs and defendants in an array of claims, including challenging cases involving wrongful death and survival claims. She frequently leverages her experience representing plaintiffs to advocate for and defend clients facing personal injury claims arising from car accidents, premises defects, and dangerous and defective products.
Additionally, she negotiates and drafts construction contracts and represents clients in complex construction litigation claims of design error, omission, delay, defective workmanship, and bond disputes. Along with this work, she advises and represents boards for multiple boroughs, townships, school districts, and municipal authorities.
A 2005 graduate of St. Vincent College, Lisa earned her J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law in 2008.
