Dan serves as GRB’s President and Managing Director. In addition to his managing responsibilities, he leads the firm’s Real Estate Law Group.
Dan’s primary practice involves representing real estate developers and lenders on a wide variety of issues, including land use approvals, sales and acquisitions, leasing issues, loan documentation, and title matters.
Dan is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. He is a past Council Member of the ACBA Real Property Section.
He has been a frequent course planner and speaker for a variety of continuing education seminars, primarily dealing with land use and real estate development matters, including over 20 years serving as course planner and speaker for a Pennsylvania State University program on zoning law. He has also served as course planner and speaker for multiple Pennsylvania Bar Institute programs on Real Estate Development Transactions: Undeveloped Property (2001); Existing Commercial Office Buildings (2003); Undeveloped Property (2006) and Existing Commercial Buildings (2008). In addition, Dan has served as an Adjunct Professor of a land use course at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
Dan received both, his B.A. Degree, cum laude in 1975, and his J.D. in 1978, from the University of Pittsburgh.
Dan is admitted to practice in all Pennsylvania State Courts, the U.S. District Court of Western Pennsylvania and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Third Circuit.
