After clerking for GRB Law in the summer of 2009, Emily joined the firm as an Associate in August 2010. Emily's practice largely centers on assisting municipal clients with the collection of current and delinquent taxes and municipal claims, including representing clients in matters involving the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
In addition to her collection work, she provides legal counsel to the firm’s municipal clients, including Zoning Hearing Boards and Planning Commissions. Emily also assists many of the firm’s municipal and school district clients with reviewing and responding to requests for public records under Pennsylvania’s Right-to-Know Law, and represents clients in appeals before the Pennsylvania Office of Open Records.
Emily is experienced in assisting municipal clients with prosecuting Zoning Ordinance violations, as well as addressing property maintenance issues, including demolition proceedings.
