Latest GRB News Elizabeth P. Sattler completes 6-hour Mediation Training
On December 3, 2009, Elizabeth P. Sattler completed the 6-hour mediation training required of all members of CLASP (Collaborative Law Association of Southwestern PA). The training, as presented by Lynn MacBeth, was an introduction to mediation for family law lawyers trained in Collaborative Law.
Collaborative Law is a relatively new approach to divorce that promotes open communication between the spouses, in an attempt to achieve a mutual settlement without going to court.
In addition to this training, Elizabeth has recently completed the two-day “Introduction to Collaborative Law Training.” She has developed a divorce and support litigation practice, of which she plans to enhance by incorporating the methods of Collaborative Law.
