Latest GRB News Elizabeth P. Sattler serves on Open Records Law panel
On December 3, 2009, Elizabeth served on a three-person panel to discuss Pennsylvania laws concerning open meetings and open records. In particular, Elizabeth taught the Open Records Act portion of the course, focusing on the impact of the Open Records Law on both the municipality, and the elected officials. She also participated in discussion about the Sunshine Law and the sources of power for local governments.
The course was held at the Greentree Municipal Building. Approximately 55 new elected officials from local municipalities within Allegheny County attended.
Elizabeth represents public schools and municipal agencies in all matters of organization, management, operation and finance, as well as a variety of clients in matters at the trial and appellate court levels. She also has a family law practice, which focuses on divorce and support litigation.
