Estate Planning and Administration Group:
Estate Administration |
 |
When a loved one dies, you may be thrust into the role of Executor of the Estate, or Successor Trustee of his or her Revocable Trust. In that situation, you are required to send notices to certain people, advertise the Estate or Trust Administration, prepare and file Federal and State tax returns, and prepare and file various other forms with state agencies.
It can be confusing and seem overwhelming, but our Estate Planning and Administration attorneys know what needs to be done and can make the process manageable. Much of the work that needs to be done would be performed by our Estate paralegals who have years of experience working full time handling Estate and Trust Administration. Because our Estate paralegals are efficient and have billing rates lower than attorneys, they help to keep down the legal costs of an Estate and Trust Administration.
