Brian is a member of the firm's Real Estate Law and Business Law Groups. He advises commercial, individual and financial institution clients in a broad range of transactional matters, including real estate acquisitions and sales, lease negotiations, landlord and tenant matters, financing, loan documentation and real estate tax assessments.

 

In addition to his real estate work, Brian counsels small to mid-size businesses in formation and operational matters. This work includes counseling on employment issues, financing, shareholder matters, acquisitions and sales and intellectual property.

 

Brian’s legal experience began in 1997 as a law clerk for GRB, which proceeded his becoming an associate of the firm in 1998.  He was named partner of the firm in 2004. In addition to his legal work, Brian manages the firm’s law clerk internship program in which law students are hired to assist the firm during the summer months and throughout the academic year. 

 

After graduating magna cum laude with a BA from the University of Pittsburgh in 1995, Brian received his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh in 1998. He has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer Rising Star numerous times since 2005 in the area of Real Estate Law.  He is currently a member of the Real Property Section of the Allegheny County Bar Association and is a licensed title agent in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

 

Brian is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the Courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
