Elizabeth joined the firm in the summer of 2011 and practices within the firm’s Family Law and Estate Planning and Administration Groups.


She represents clients in divorce, custody and support litigation, drafts settlement and premarital agreements and represents parents in adoption proceedings. 


In addition to her Family Law practice, she drafts wills, powers of attorney, and trusts and special needs trusts. She also represents clients in guardianship proceedings, as well as estate litigation in the Orphans’ Division.


Elizabeth is a member of the ACBA, with particular involvement in the Family Bar Association and Public Service Committee. She was a member of the 2009-2010 Bar Leadership Initiative Class and is an active member of the bar association’s Young Lawyers’ Division, as a member of the Public Service and Member Services Committees. For the past two years, she has co-chaired the "Stepping Out Program," which provides presentations to local middle and high schools, and has presented on behalf of the “Very Important Papers” program, which is guided toward the elderly. Elizabeth is a contributing author to the YLD 2011 “Online Legal Guide to Families in Medical Crisis.”


Elizabeth has served on the HEARTH Associate Board since 2010, with a focus on fundraising to provide housing, education and support services for homeless women and children. She is also a Volunteer Attorney for the Neighborhood Legal Services Association evening family law clinic and Protection From Abuse program, as well as the Allegheny County Adult Family Division, and the Veteran’s Clinic.


Elizabeth earned her undergraduate degree, a B.S. in Journalism, from Ohio University, Scripps Howard School of Journalism in 2004. She received a Certificate in Political Communications in addition to her journalism degree. She then attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, earning her J.D. in 2007, along with a Certificate in Civil Litigation.


Elizabeth is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
